Ready to go deeper?
We'd like to invite any students 8-12th grade to come have dinner and study the Bible with us! Group leaders include adults from Gateway.
We meet every Monday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm starting September 14th at First Christian Church.
Alpha Youth is an 8 week session (Sept. 10- Oct. 29) where we introduce the person of Jesus to students. Our time together at The Riv Cafe is a place to share what you believe (or don't believe) with listening adults and other students who want to hear your story. Dinner is included. This event is open to all High School students.
Join us for youth group! Grades 6-12 meet each Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:30pm to have fun, connect with others, and discuss God and the truth God has given us.
Schedule:
5:30 - Doors open for hanging out
6:00 - Dinner
6:30 - Game
7:00 - Small Groups: Bible passage, discussion, and prayer for each other
7:45 - Large Group: teaching and discussion
8:15 - Dessert and more hanging out
Students are expected to stay for the entire evening, unless otherwise instructed by parents or guardians. Once a student leaves, they shouldn’t be returning for the rest of the night – this allows us to be responsible in our supervision of these amazing young people. Students are welcome to hang out after youth group until a little bit before 9:00, when our leaders need to be getting home.
